Hello Lisa! My name is Erica. I met you (under rather unfortunate circumstances) at La Fonda tonight. I (as well as my friends) just wanted to thank you tremendously for buying our dinner. I know to you it was something small, but we are so appreciative and were absolutely shocked to see that you all had done that, particularly under the circumstances. It seems that when you think you’ve lost faith in humanity, someone surprises you and out of their frustration turns right around and stuffs light and love and generosity defiantly back in the face of evil and hope in humanity is restored tenfold. Thank you for being one of those humans. Honestly, it was a privilege to meet you, your husband, and your sweet daughter. I know things like this happen and we never think it will happen to us, but be encouraged that justice will be served one way or another, and thank God we are all still in one piece. I hope your daughter’s training in incredible, your husband’s precious medal is restored, and you continue to share your light with the world. My friends and I will be traveling soon enough to hear your band play as we will be headed to Hemlockfest in the fall! Praying for peace and restoration for you all!
Sending light and love,
Erica – wow. Thank you so, so very much. Just that for tonight. We arrived back to our home in the mountains. I’ll reach out on facebook tomorrow. As we are a bit tired. Namaste. LxoJ
I’m one of the friends Erica mentioned above and I just want to reiterate what Erica said. We are so appreciative and blown away by your kindness. Glad to hear you made it back to those incredible mountains safely. Erica and I attended Young Harris College, so those mountains hold a dear place in our hearts.
My biggest hope is that those treasures and memoirs are returned to your family. My heart just sinks thinking about all the work put in to earn such a treasure, and I sincerely hope it is returned!
